Petersen Aluminum and J & L Specialty Steel have teamed up to introduce a new stainless steel product called Architex. Architex is perfect for projects where stainless steel╒s beauty, strength and corrosion resistance is desired. As a low-gloss, non-directional finish, Architex is an excellent choice for roofing panels copings, column covers and other high-profile applications. What is Architex? Architex is not a coating or paint
finish, but a process. Architex is stainless steel that, through the application
of a proprietary rolling and anealing technique, creates a matte, non-directional
finish on both sides of the coil. Architex offers excellent lifecycle cost
benefits because it╒s virtually maintenance-free and never needs painting
or coating. The material arrives vinyl-masked to prevent hand printing. Protective
masking should be removed immediately after installation. |
